Last year my band got a lucky break. We were seen playing in London one night and asked by a promoter to go up and play at the Edinburgh festival! It was a very big deal for us because the night we were playing would be broadcast later on that night on Radio 2! It was the first interest that we had ever had from anyone other than your typical promoter that wants you to come and play down at the dog and Duck.
