A trip to the Edinburgh Festival
Last year my band got a lucky break. We were seen playing in London one night and asked by a promoter to go up and play at the Edinburgh festival! It was a very big deal for us because the night we were playing would be broadcast later on that night on Radio 2! It was the first interest that we had ever had from anyone other than your typical promoter that wants you to come and play down at the dog and Duck. Another Place for Vacation
I believe that basically nobody hates going on vacation, especially, when they have had enough of their boring daily activities. They need some refreshment act to clear up their mind. And the only way to make them feel better is by taking a vacation. Usually people go for a vacation in once a year. But this rule is not applied to those who love traveling. The New Face of Puerto del Carmen
As the oldest holiday resort on the island of Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen has recently undergone something of a facelift. After forty years of welcoming tourists, major refurbishment of the seafront has been completed recently.
Now the main avenue that runs behind the beaches of the resort has been turned into a one-way single lane road, giving much more space to pedestrians and cyclists. The intention being to create a more inviting space for visitors to use as they stroll along the seafront. Read the rest of this entry »
